  • The Certificate II in Floristry (Assistant) (SFL20110) is for individuals wanting to pursue a career in the floristry or retail industry. This course is for those individuals who do not wish to undertake an apprenticeship but still want accreditation as a florist assistant. This course covers the theory and practical elements required to successfully work in the floristry industry.

  • The course provides excellent opportunities for students who are aiming to:

  • The Certificate II in Retail Make-Up and Skin Care (SIB20110) is designed to allow graduates to gain entry into the professional world of beauty  and cosmetics. This course will also provide essential retail skills, industry knowledge, attitudes and values to work successfully and with confidence in retail make-up and skin care.

  • The course provides excellent opportunities for students who are aiming to:

    1. secure a base grade qualification in the Beauty industry;
    2. progress to Certificate III or higher in Beauty;
    3. enhance opportunities of employment within the Beauty and Cosmetic industry;
    4. acquire a high level of Make-up artisitry practical skills at Certificate II level.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY (Certificates I, II, III & IV)


  • The Certificates in English Proficiency has been designed to develop Australian English language listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

    These accredited courses are for:

     • Youth who need to improve their English and numeracy skills to achieve SACE and SACE credits;
    • learners who need better language skills to gain employment or to meet minimum entry requirements for further vocational training courses;
     • learners who are new Australians and require English enhancement for better integration into Australian society and culture and who wish to better their chances at gaining employment or enrol in further study;
     • learners requiring higher level reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in order to gain entry to tertiary or higher education courses;
     • existing workers whose language skills do not meet industry requirements, or prohibits them from seeking new employment opportunities.
